🍅 Slow Cooker Tomato Soup Beef Stew
Ingredients
-
2 lb (900 g) beef stew meat
-
1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) condensed tomato soup
-
1 packet dry onion soup mix
-
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Instructions
-
Add the beef: Place the raw stew meat directly into the slow cooker.
-
Add the ingredients: Pour the condensed tomato soup over the beef. Sprinkle in the onion soup mix and add the mushrooms.
-
Mix: Stir gently so the beef is coated with the soup and seasoning.
-
Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the beef is tender and reaches a safe internal temperature.
-
Serve: Stir the stew before serving and spoon it over mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
Tip: Add diced carrots and potatoes for a complete one-pot meal. No extra water is usually needed because the beef releases juices as it cooks.
