Dorothy’s 3-Ingredient Chicken Breasts
A simple, juicy chicken dinner made with just three main ingredients and minimal prep.
Ingredients
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
1 cup Italian dressing
-
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
-
Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the dish and pour the Italian dressing evenly over them.
-
Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the Parmesan generously over the chicken.
-
Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 25–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the breasts.
-
Finish uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
-
Rest: Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Easy Tip
For more even cooking, pound thick chicken breasts to a similar thickness before baking. Serve with roasted vegetables, salad, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Note: Italian dressing and Parmesan can be salty, so additional salt usually isn’t necessary.
