Dorothy’s 3-Ingredient Chicken Breasts

A simple, juicy chicken dinner made with just three main ingredients and minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup Italian dressing

  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Prepare the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the dish and pour the Italian dressing evenly over them.

  3. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the Parmesan generously over the chicken.

  4. Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 25–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the breasts.

  5. Finish uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.

  6. Rest: Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Easy Tip

For more even cooking, pound thick chicken breasts to a similar thickness before baking. Serve with roasted vegetables, salad, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Note: Italian dressing and Parmesan can be salty, so additional salt usually isn’t necessary.
