3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Creamy Gravy Roast Beef

This easy slow-cooker meal turns sliced deli roast beef into a tender, savory dinner with almost no preparation. The creamy gravy creates a rich sauce that’s delicious over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lbs sliced deli roast beef
  • 1 jar (about 12 oz) beef or homestyle creamy gravy
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Add the beef
Place the sliced deli roast beef into the slow cooker. Separate the slices slightly so the gravy can coat them evenly.
  2. Add the gravy
Pour the entire jar of creamy gravy over the roast beef.
  3. Add the onion soup mix
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over everything. Stir gently to combine without breaking the beef apart too much.
  4. Slow cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or until the beef is thoroughly heated and the flavors have blended. Since deli roast beef is already cooked, it doesn’t require the long cooking time used for raw meat.
  5. Stir and serve
Gently stir the beef through the creamy gravy before serving. Spoon plenty of gravy over each portion.

Serving Ideas

Serve this creamy roast beef over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, rice, or toasted bread. A side of green beans or roasted vegetables makes it a complete meal.

Tip

For an extra creamy sauce, stir in 2–4 ounces of softened cream cheese during the final 20–30 minutes of cooking. Keep the slow cooker on LOW and stir until smooth.
