Slow-Cooker Sirloin Tip Roast With 4 Simple Ingredients

A simple dump-and-go roast with tender beef and flavorful gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 sirloin tip roast (about 2½–3 lb / 1.1–1.4 kg)

  • 1 packet onion soup mix

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 lb baby potatoes

Instructions

  1. Add everything to the slow cooker. Place the raw sirloin tip roast in the center. Add the potatoes around it.

  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the roast.

  3. Spoon the cream of mushroom soup over the top and pour in the beef broth.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours, or until the beef is tender.

  5. Let the roast rest for about 10–15 minutes before slicing.

Helpful Tip

Sirloin tip is relatively lean, so avoid cooking it much longer than necessary if you want sliceable beef. For food safety, use a meat thermometer and verify the roast reaches a safe internal temperature.
