Mini Ham and Cheese Ritz Cracker Sandwiches
These bite-sized sandwiches are buttery, cheesy, and easy to make for parties, snacks, or a quick appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers
- 6–8 slices deli ham
- 4–6 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds, optional
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried parsley, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Build the sandwiches: Place half of the Ritz crackers on the baking sheet. Cut the ham and cheese into pieces that fit the crackers. Layer ham and cheese on each cracker, then top with another cracker.
- Make the buttery topping: Stir together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush the sandwiches: Spoon or brush a small amount of the butter mixture over the tops of the cracker sandwiches.
- Bake: Bake for about 8–10 minutes, just until the cheese melts and the crackers become lightly crisp. Watch them closely because Ritz crackers can brown quickly.
- Cool briefly: Let them sit for a few minutes before serving.
Tip
For a sweeter flavor, use honey ham. For a stronger savory flavor, use Swiss cheese with a little extra Dijon mustard. These are best served warm while the cheese is still melted.
