🍫 Homemade Chocolate Peanut Clusters

Makes: about 15–20 clusters
Prep time: 10 minutes + chilling

Ingredients

  • 200 g chocolate (milk, dark, or semi-sweet), chopped

  • 150 g roasted peanuts, unsalted or lightly salted

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother chocolate)

  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Method

  1. Melt the chocolate: Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth. Or melt gently over a pan of simmering water.

  2. Add peanuts: Stir the roasted peanuts into the melted chocolate until completely coated.

  3. Make clusters: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Chill: Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes, until firm.

  5. Sprinkle with a little sea salt if desired.

Easy variations

  • Add raisins or dried cranberries for a sweet-and-tart version.

  • Add shredded coconut for extra texture.

  • Use dark chocolate + roasted peanuts for a less-sweet version.

Tip: If using salted peanuts, skip the extra salt. Store the clusters in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to about 2 weeks.
