4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Deli Roast Beef with Creamy Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 lb sliced deli roast beef
- 1 jar (12 oz) beef or homestyle gravy
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Layer the beef: Place the sliced deli roast beef in the slow cooker, separating the slices slightly so the gravy can coat them.
- Add the gravy mixture: Pour the jar of gravy over the beef. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the top and add the beef broth.
- Slow cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or until the beef is heated through and tender.
- Stir gently: About 15–20 minutes before serving, gently stir everything together so the beef is coated in the creamy, savory gravy.
- Serve: Spoon the beef and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or toasted bread.
Tip: Deli roast beef is already cooked, so the goal is to heat it gently. Avoid overcooking, which can make thin slices tough or dry.
