No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

These easy no-bake peanut butter balls need only a few ingredients and are perfect as a quick snack or sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup

  • 1½ cups rolled oats

  • ½ cup powdered milk or desiccated coconut

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • A small pinch of salt

Method

  1. Mix the wet ingredients:
Add peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla to a bowl. Stir until smooth.

  2. Add the dry ingredients:
Mix in the rolled oats, powdered milk or coconut, and salt.

  3. Add chocolate chips:
Stir them in if you want extra sweetness.

  4. Chill the mixture:
Refrigerate for about 20–30 minutes. This makes the mixture easier to handle.

  5. Form the balls:
Take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your palms to make a small ball.

  6. Refrigerate:
Place the finished balls in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to firm them up.

Storage

Keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for approximately 1 week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.

Easy variations

  • Chocolate: Add cocoa powder or extra chocolate chips.

  • Coconut: Roll the finished balls in shredded coconut.

  • Crunchy: Use crunchy peanut butter and add chopped nuts.

  • Less sweet: Reduce the honey and add a little more oats.

Tip: If the mixture is too sticky, add a little more oats. If it’s too dry or crumbly, add a small amount of peanut butter or honey.
